Why Cited exists

Search behaviour has fundamentally changed. Who we are

Cited is run by a small team with over 20 years of combined experience in SEO, digital strategy, and emerging technology, holding accreditations across leading AI and search platforms. The service is led by Tom, an AI Search Specialist who personally reviews audits and runs the free consultation calls. Cited operates alongside Causeway, a UK digital agency, which gives clients access to designers and developers when optimisation work requires hands-on implementation.

We are practitioners, not a reporting dashboard. Every recommendation Cited makes is one we have implemented ourselves — from structured data and llms.txt files to AI crawler configuration and content restructuring — and this website is built to pass the same audit we run on yours.

How we work

Everything starts with the free audit: enter a URL, and within about 5 minutes the scores and a prioritised action plan arrive by email. From there, businesses can fix the issues themselves using the recommendations, book a free 15-minute call to talk through the results, or have Cited carry out the work through a one-off Technical Fixes project or the ongoing AI Optimised service.
